In 2007, Health by Design installed a Missing Link Backup and Disaster Recovery (BDR) solution. In 2008, we purchased a new Electronic Medical Records system from eClinicalWorks and installed it on a 64-bit Windows server. Missing Link, Inc. (MLI) proactively discovered during “dry run testing” the virtualization capability of the installed BDR was incompatible with the 64-bit Server and eClinicalWorks software. MLI brought this to our attention and upgraded the BDR device at their expense. Health by Design did not have to purchase a new BDR.
